It feels great to be back. Thank you for your warm welcome. I am honored to be the new Director of the International Student Program. Whether your son or daughter is a new or current student they all are an important part of our campus community, and even more so for the international students. Our international students come from different parts of the world pursuing a rigorous education while experiencing the American culture.
Serving as a school administrator for the past 15 years, I’ve enjoyed seeing domestic and international students graduate and make a difference in their lives, families, and community. At Memorial, the faculty, the staff, and fellow students work together to make sure all students feel welcomed and part of a community. When I heard of the opportunity to return, I did not hesitate. The international students are embraced and adapt easily to the Memorial family. Thank you for creating a home away from home for each of our international students.
At Memorial, the international students are not alone on their journey. The excitement, quality, and challenge of Memorial academics are supported by experienced, highly credentialed faculty, scholar academic advising, dedicated staff and administration whose mission is to provide a rigorous, Catholic, college preparatory environment, within and beyond the classroom.
As students continue their spirited educational journey with faculty in the classroom, during extracurricular activities, and on campus, their confidence will continue to grow and transform them into successful Memorial graduates who demonstrate Gospel values and virtues that are reflected in faith, learning, and service.
The goal for our international program is to continue to grow with the Memorial community and provide an experience where our students can learn from different cultures and become life-long friends. We are actively recruiting international students and look forward to welcoming them each year.
