Celebrate Abilities Day (C.A.D) is a Community Outreach Program in which SJM invites 150 guests with special needs from all over the San Joaquin Valley to be partnered with Memorial students for the day. Held on Wednesday, November 6 from 10 am - 1 pm, Celebrate Abilities Day is a fun and free carnival. This is a great event where the SJM Community can come together to give our guests a great experience.
The committee that coordinates (C.A.D) consists of teachers, staff and students who plan and organize the event. Each SJM teacher, club, and athletic team hosts game booths or activities. Students and guests will enjoy SJM school spirit while participating in face painting, interactive games, photo booth, cupcake walk, dancing, and many more exciting carnival games. All of the carnival games are modified to accommodate the diversity of guests. The goal for this event is to give Memorial students the opportunity to learn and gain an understanding of life, love, and compassion and to realize the abilities in all of God's children.
