San Joaquin Memorial High School is a four-year, coeducational high school that is part of the Fresno Catholic School System, administered by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno. Our foundation is the Gospel message that inspires worship, promotes service, and builds community. In partnership with parents, who are the primary educators, our faculty and staff serve as teachers and mentors in a student-centered environment. We are an inclusive community that challenges students to embrace a diverse education while respecting the dignity of each individual. Our goal is to graduate exemplary citizens who will influence society through their faith, learning, service and leadership.
San Joaquin Memorial High School is the school of choice for families seeking a rigorous, adaptable, modern approach within a classical education and welcoming Catholic environment. Hallmarks of a San Joaquin Memorial High School education include a multi-dimensional program inspired by our traditions of a rigorous curriculum, robust activities, Christian service, and ethical leadership, designed to be a culturally inclusive community that maximizes the potential of every student.
We believe in inspiring each student to adopt a personal faith journey by offering opportunities for worship, reflection and prayer. We provide an atmosphere that calls each person to find God in all things. Participation in Memorial’s retreat program, religious studies curriculum and Campus Ministry activities provide a deeper awareness of God in students’ daily lives.
We believe Memorial’s rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum develops the academic and creative strengths of students. We believe in developing adaptive skills, integrating technology, promoting intellectual curiosity, overcoming academic challenges, encouraging critical thinking and instilling a desire for life-long learning.
We believe in inspiring students to follow the model of Jesus Christ and answer the call to serve the school and the greater community. We believe that each student will achieve a greater awareness and understanding of the “least of these” by becoming involved with those in need.
