Congratulations to Board Member Tony Smith

Congratulations to Board Member Tony Smith for his performance at Monarch Dunes Golf Course in Nipomo and in the USGA Senior Open Championship. 

To qualify for the Senior Open Championship, Tony shot a 68 and was the low qualifier out of 77 players competing for 2 spots into the USGA Senior Open Championship. Tony was the only player under par for the day earning the medalist honor by 3 shots. He played well at the Senior Open. This was Tony’s second USGA Senior Open as he previously qualified back in 2015. Tony coaches the Boys and Girls Golf Teams at Memorial and serves as a board member. His caddy was Slater Christensen, one of the players from his team.
