San Joaquin Memorial Student Ethan Quinn Competes on International Tennis Stage

San Joaquin Memorial High School Junior Ethan Quinn has a lot on his mind outside of school: beyond homework and tests, he's also working hard to maintain his status as one of the top junior tennis players in the United States. As of last check, he was ranked number one in the United States in unders 18s by USTA and 44th internationally by ITF.

Quinn's next big goal is the junior French Open, set for June.

"I want to win one of these big tournaments," he said. "That's the ultimate goal."

Quinn has been playing since childhood, inheriting a love of tennis from his tennis playing parents. He said that, without the flexibility Memorial offers, all of this would not be possible.
