Mike Pronovost has been on an upward trend since graduating from Memorial in 2008. Upon graduation, he founded his own company, Pronovost Technologies. But now, he is moving on to a new challenge: Director of Technology and Mobile Programs for the California State University System. Pronovost will serve the college system's 23 campuses, helping to usher the system into the new age of technology.
As the 2020/21 school year draws to a close, I would like to share some news about the start of next school year. The calendar for the 2021/22 school year is included in this issue of the Panther Press. Important dates for the start of the year, vacation schedules, etc are all set for next year.
San Joaquin Memorial High School Junior Ethan Quinn has a lot on his mind outside of school: beyond homework and tests, he's also working hard to maintain his status as one of the top junior tennis players in the United States.
As the end of the year approaches, students are earning awards for a year of success. Underclassmen were acknowledged in early May while Seniors received awards they will be acknowledged for at graduation on Saturday, including CSF lifetime membership and Distinguished Service awards. Soon, our 76th class will graduate. An email has been sent to Senior parents and students with more information about events that are tentatively scheduled for the graduating class, including a Senior Luau and Sober Grad and Baccalaureate.
